CDC Vaccine Schedule Birth – 18 Years of Age

TOTAL vaccine doses through age 18:  65 – 79

Three doses of Hepatitis B by 18 months.

Two or three doses of Rotavirus by 6 months.

Five doses of Diptheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (DTaP) by 6 years. (15 doses)

Three or four doses of HIB by 15 months.

Four doses of Pneumococcal PCV by 15 months.

Four doses of Inactivated Polio by 6 years.

One or two doses of Influenza per year from 6 months to 8 years. (9-18 doses)

One dose of Influenza per year from age 9 and up. (10 doses)

Two doses of Measles, Mumps, and Rubella by 6 years. (6 doses)

Two doses of Varicella by 6 years.

Two doses of Hepatitis A before 2 years.

One dose of Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (Tdap) after 7 years. (3 doses)

Two or three doses of HPV within one year, between 9-15 years.

Two doses of Meningococcal by 16 years.

Comments

2022 CDC schedule does not yet include COVID-19 vaccines.

For Influenza vaccines:

- 2 doses, separated by at least 4 weeks, for children age 6 months–8
years who have received fewer than 2 influenza vaccine doses before July 1, 2021, or whose influenza vaccination history is unknown (administer dose 2 even if the child turns 9 between receipt of dose 1 and dose 2)

- 1 dose for children age 6 months–8 years who have received at least 2 influenza vaccine doses before July 1, 2021
